Important – Existing System Condition

Power flushing may reveal pre-existing weaknesses in ageing, corroded or deteriorated heating systems, including leaks from radiators, pipework, valves, joints or other components. The pre-service inspection is visual and operational and does not include pressure testing of concealed pipework.

DryZone cannot accept responsibility for failures resulting from pre-existing corrosion, deterioration or defective components. Any leak investigation, repair or component replacement required during or following the restoration service is not included in the package price and will be quoted separately.
Results depend on the existing condition and design of the heating system. Severely restricted, damaged or deteriorated components may require additional repair or replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The price is calculated based on the information you provide about your heating system and the service package selected. In most cases, it should be very close to the final price. If we identify anything that may affect the scope or cost of the work, we will discuss this with you before the service is confirmed.

We will review the information you provide and contact you to confirm the work and arrange a suitable date. In some cases, we may ask for additional information or photos of the boiler, heat pump, cylinder, manifolds, radiators or possible connection points before confirming the booking.

Not usually. The information provided through this form, together with any additional photos or details we may request, is normally sufficient to prepare for the work. If the system is unusual, particularly complex, or its condition cannot be established remotely, a preliminary site visit may be recommended.

Yes, although significant differences are not normally expected when the information provided is accurate. The price may change if the actual system differs from the information submitted, additional radiators or UFH loops are identified, access is unusually difficult, or additional repair work is required. Any significant additional work will be discussed with you before proceeding.

The time required depends on the size, design and condition of the heating system and the selected service package. Most residential systems require a substantial part of the working day, while larger, heavily contaminated or more complex systems may take longer.

Yes. The heating system will normally need to be shut down for part of the cleaning and restoration process. Once the work is completed, the system will be refilled, vented, recommissioned and checked as required by the selected service package.

No. Cleaning removes contamination and restrictions where these are affecting circulation, but not every heating problem is caused by sludge or dirty heating fluid. Faulty valves, pumps, controls, damaged components, pipework restrictions or other defects may require separate repair.

Minor adjustments included within the selected package will be carried out where applicable. If a component requires repair or replacement outside the agreed scope of work, we will explain the issue and discuss the additional work and cost with you before proceeding.

Please ensure reasonable access to the heating appliance, radiators, manifolds, cylinder and other relevant parts of the heating system. If furniture or personal belongings restrict access to radiators or equipment, we recommend moving them before our arrival where practical.

Yes. We work with radiator systems, underfloor heating (UFH), heat pump systems, oil-fired heating systems and hybrid installations. The cleaning method is selected according to the design and condition of the individual system.
